Mix, Melt, and Mold to Create Multicolored Crayons

The Melt ‘N Mold Factory makes it easy to create original color combinations and molded objects. Start with an array of crayon bits–high-contrast colors such as blue and yellow or green and orange create the best results. Then add your custom combination to the melting tray, turn the dial toward the on/off switch, and watch the colors melt and blend. When the melting process is done, simply pour the melted wax into the mold of your choice to create a brand new, one-of-a-kind crayon.

Includes Two Reusable Molds and Mold Frame

The factory comes with two reusable molds. One mold makes new crayons in the traditional shape, while the other creates two ring-shaped crayons at a time. Each mold snaps easily and securely into the holder and then attaches to the factory. The Melt ‘N Mold Factory is powered by any AC outlet, so there are no batteries to replace.

Pro Tips

• Use only unwrapped Crayola regular, washable, or metallic crayon pieces in the Melter unit.
• Ensure the entire label and any leftover adhesive is discarded before placing crayon in the Melter.
• For faster color change, use small pieces of crayons.  It’s always easy to add more.
• Once a crayon is inserted in the unit, it takes about 30 seconds to a minute for the melted wax to be ready.
• Hold Crayon Melter unit straight up & down with tip flat on paper. Make sure cap is closed. Do not turn upside down or lay on its side.
• Use scrap paper to clear out Melter between colors.
• Plan out projects using lighter colors before dark, for easy color transitions.
• Regularly wipe Melter tip with paper towel to clear buildup.
• Clean out the Crayon Melter with the included cleaning tool.
