It also works with film carton sealing packaging tapes such as Shurtape HP-500 and JVCC OPP-20C and paper console tapes such as JVCC ART-11. Please note that the diameter of full-length cloth tapes such as gaffers and spike will be too large to fit into the dispenser. The dispenser’s serrated blade is used to cut the tape and there is a safety guard on the dispenser which can be manually pushed up to cover the blade. The dispenser’s blade works well on cutting tape that is 3 mils thick and under. The 1-inch Excell EX-17 dispenser fits one 1-inch wide tape roll and is available with a padded foam base only. The 2-inch Excell EX-17 dispenser comes with two 1-inch wide rollers so you can use the dispenser for one 2-inch wide roll or two individual 1-inch wide tape rolls. The 2-inch EX-17 dispenser is available in either a padded foam base or a suction cup base (also called a footpad base). Please make sure to choose your base preference when ordering your dispenser.
